Storage Tips
- Protect your items with pads and covers.
- Label all boxes on multiple sides. Be descriptive!
- Pack boxes completely. Fill any extra space with paper or rags to prevent them from collapsing when stacking.
- Store the most frequently used items in the front of your storage closet.
- Use garbage cans to store yard equipment such as, shovels, hoes and rakes.
- For easier stacking use similar size boxes.
- Use quality boxes and tape when packing. (See Storage Supplies for a list of items sold at our facility)
- Store couches (except sofa-beds) on end to maximize space.
- Disassemble tables and shelves and store them on their sides. Package and mark all pieces for easier assembly.
- Organize and maximize your storage closet by utilizing shelves.
